Fine antique Edwardian era turned or carved wood & gilded metal or brass 16 tall hat & coat rack, a wall mounted piece with removable arms and wonderful decorative appeal!

This one also came to us from France though we're not sure if it was a French made piece or came from elsewhere in Europe. Heavy, solid wood with a lighter finish, the arms themselves in a metal tubing with a gilt finish (not really sure of the metal beneath the finish but likely brass). A lovely piece and in fabulous condition! Very good to excellent condition.

Just as you see it, the images are accurate and clear. Possibly a small nip to the wood here and there but no larger chips, cracking or damage to note. The gilding has an aged/darkened patina in places, possibly with a gold metallic paint over the metal beneath. See pictures for all measurements.
