This is a bit of a unicorn in the world of coat stands, it's a very classically English style, I've not seen one with such a heavy weighted marble base before, ideal because it keeps the thing upright no matter how many coats you pile on there. In terms of the condition it is straight and solid, the brass has a nice patination and looks very artistic from all angles, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom.
