Rare 1880 American Eagle Black Forest Wood Carved Coat Hat & Umbrella Rack Stand

Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this very rare original Black Forest wood hand carved coat hat and umbrella rack finished with large American Eagle. A very rare and collectable piece, I've only ever seen these with the bears on before, this must have been a custom commission and for a very important person. This stand naturally is for hats coats and umbrellas, the all important and original drip trays are present, the hooks are all original and solid. Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished it, there will be age related patina here and there from honest use.

The stand bows a little forward, natural considering its so tall. Height:- 222cm top to bottom, with the eagle removed 189cm, to the top of the umbrella stand 70cm.

Width:- 108.5cm across the top, 76cm at the base. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask.
